Product Information A slave cylinder installs on your transmission and actuates your clutch pressure plate when the clutch pedal is pressed. On a factory 6 speed 02M or 02Q transmission the clutch slave cylinder is located on the inside of the transmission’s bellhousing. The slave cylinder actuates each time the clutch engages. This setup is not ideal for a performance vehicle. The Clutch Masters Hydraulic Slave Cylinder Kit was built with performance in mind. The hydraulic slave cylinder is a single contained unit that incorporates both the slave cylinder and throw out bearing into one. Once installed you expect a softer pedal feel, better clutch engagement, and smoother shifting.
