Product Information Vibra-Technics SubframeMount (Road) For MK5/6VW MK5/6 GTI, Jetta, Golf R, R32, CC, Passat and Audi MK2 TT, S3, A3  6 Speed and DSG Direct replacement for the OE mount. This uprated mount will reduce engine movement in all directions – giving less stress on exhaust etc and giving the car a tighter feel. It also gives vastly superior comfort and isolation from engine vibration over inferior aftermarket urethane mounts. This mount retains all mounting points for the original equipment accessories Vibra-Technics products are manufacturer primarily from natural rubber compounds and occasionally from blends of synthetic and natural rubber to give particular properties for specific applications. Extensive experience and testing in all kinds of environmental conditions by Automobile Manufacturers has shown that only natural rubber compounds give optimum performance and durability (which is why it is still universally used today by every car manufacturer). Where the rubber needs to be attached to metal components, this is achieved by chemically bonding the rubber to the metal during the molding process, using the latest chemical adhesive systems.  Our rubber-to-metal bonded products are designed specifically for high performance applications where a direct replacement for the standard mount is required along with a much higher level of engine control to cope with higher engine outputs and higher road inputs caused by fast driving. The Fast Road mounts give significant improvements in ride and handling without adversely affecting vibration isolation. The competition mounts also eliminate clearance problems with strut braces and exhaust systems, body panels etc. and improve handling whist still giving vibration isolation at high engine speeds. Competition mounts are not recommended for road use.
